Porto Istana

Near Capo Ceraso, in locality Murta Maria, just south of Olbia, Porto Istana is a small cove bordered by rocks and surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation with juniper trees, in the shadow of which you can find shelter in the warmer hours. From north to south it consists of four beaches, called first, second, third and fourth, separated from each other by thin seams of rock.

The sea, whose seabed gently slopes, makes bathing safe even for children. The fine white quarz sand, joining the water, turns this place into a rainbow of shades. Porto Istana Beach is also well served by public transport.

How to reach Porto Istana:

From Olbia take the SS 125 southward; once arrived at Murta Maria Village, turn left and continue for 2 kilometres until you reach a large parking lot.
